Welcome back to my blog. Today's post is about the LMS. Then we will continue with Blackboard and Moodle. Let's get started!
WHAT IS LMS?
Learning Management System (LMS) is a web-based software for managing e-learning process.
The first introduction of the LMS was in the late 1990s. But we getting to know it more during the pandemic and we realized the importance of LMS in education.
With LMS, we can administrate our classes. Also LMS makes the education more efficient and effective. You can get your all learning materials in one place and make them available for all your learners with just one click!
It can be used in educational courses, training programs or learning and development programs. LMS is not a system for just school-based education, also most of the companies use LMS in their administration, reporting and traning process.
Now, let's talk about the benefits of LMS.

BLACKBOARD
Blackboard is a website for online teaching and learning. It provides you sharing your materials on a platform with your learners easily. You can manage and customize your course by making it accessible for your learners. Blackboard enpowers the learning and teaching process with the technology and it delivers easier and entertaining learning environment to the students.
With the Blackboard education goes beyond the traditioanal education system and it moves also out of the classroom.

MOODLE
Moodle is the another LMS platform. You can create your online class on this e-learning platform and Moodle provides you to share your documents, assignments, quizzes, etc. with your students in an enjoyable and easy way. Moodle is free.
It is also widely used in Turkey by universities. Universities use this system to communicate with their students, announcements are transmitted to students through this system.
